For the School Market . . .

A Major National School Publisher

A wrap-copy teacher's edition for Grade 6 of a major national basal reading program, 2000

Produced 1500+ book pages of lesson commentary and teacher support text in eight weeks to meet the Publisher's emergency deadline.

Responsible for project management and editorial development. Hired, trained, and supervised an out-of-house staff of 20 writers and editors. Completed the project on time and with minimal revisions.

Modern Curriculum Press

The Write Direction. A writing process-based composition program for Grades 3-5, 1999

Three 282-page student editions and three 372-page wrap-copy teacher's editions covering narrative, descriptive, expository, and persuasive writing and writing to learn. Managed a team of 22 writers, editors, and specialists to complete the program.
